Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rutledge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids.The Morristown Utility Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to determine the lowest responsible Bidder. Questions concerning the document will be directed to the Engineer: LDA Engineering, 110 Tyson Boulevard #200, Alcoa, TN 37701, Telephone: (865) 573-7672, Electronic Mail: sbostic@ldaengineering.com. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976 (latest revision). Bidder's name, license number, expiration date and that part of classification which applies must be on the sealed envelope containing the executed Bid Proposal. Subcontractor's information, where applicable, must also be included on the sealed envelope. All Bidders must be certified for removal and disposal of coatings containing lead mixtures in strict accordance with all State and Federal laws. Contractors must comply with all Drug Free Requirements. The work in general consists of the evaluation, proper removal and disposal of existing coatings (including lead based paint on the exterior), various tank appurtenances, and recoating of the Arden Water Storage Tank (interior and exterior), which has the following approximate dimensions Capacity: 100,000 gallons Height: 30 feet Diameter: 24 feet
