Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
As of April 30, 2019 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet established. Project scope is to design and install a fire suppression system in the civic center annex and auditorium. This system must tie into the existing fire alarm system including an existing sprinkler system that serves a dressing room area on the north side of the auditorium. Final design must be prepared by a qualified NICET Technician and ultimately approved through the State Fire Marshal's Office. Installation must be provided by a vendor certified to install and inspect this type of fire suppression system. The City of Carlsbad reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received and, in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness, to determine the best proposal or to reject the same and waive irregularities and technicalities.
