Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Castle, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed construction will consist of asphalt milling and asphalt paving on City Streets. Each street shall be bid individually.Proposal and Performance Guarantee: Each bid shall contain the full name and every person or company interested in it and shall be accompanied by a bond or certified check on a solvent bank equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance of its proposal secured, and a Performance Bond with good an sufficient surety, acceptable to the City, in the amount equal to at least one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract. No Bidder may with- draw his or her bid for a period of sixty days after date set for opening of bids. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information in the bidding procedure. The Knightstown Legion has applied for a license to start having Bingo at the Legion. Interested persons desiring to present their view upon request, either by writing or verbally, Please do so through the Indiana Gaming Commission.
