Estimated construction cost is more than $500,000 This project consists of roadway improvements to various roads in the Town of North Smithfield, RI. See the table below for a list of roadways included in the Base Bid as well as roadways listed in the Add Alternate Bids A and B. The work performed under this contract shall include all equipment, labor, material, supplies, etc. necessary to furnish the work described in this contract and shall include, but is not limited to: full depth pavement reconstruction; reclamation and cold in-place recycling of existing bituminous pavement; installation of a 2.0-inch Class 12.5 HMA base course and a 2.0-inch Class 9.5 HMA surface course with asphalt emulsion tack coat between the HMA layers; installation of bituminous berm; adjustment of roadway utility structures (such as frame & cover, frames & grates, gate valve boxes, etc.) to grade; soil erosion and dust control; loam and seed; traffic management; and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work.
