In the event the district is closed for business due to weather conditions or any other unforeseen emergency, bids will be accepted up to 11:00 o'clock a.m. on the first day the school district is open following the emergency closing. Bid proposals must be accompanied by Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiers Check, drawn to the order of the Toms River Board of Education. Consent of Surety in total amount bid, must also be submitted with bid proposal. A bidder on a public works project for a Board of Education where the cost of the work exceeds $20,000.00 must first have been qualified by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Building Construction, pursuant to NJSA 18A:18A-27 through 33, and shall submit with his bid Prequalification Affidavit, a copy of a valid and active Notice of Classification, and a certified copy of the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts form, and Affidavit of No Material Adverse Change. All contractors named in this proposal shall possess a valid Contractor Registration Certificate pursuant to NJSA 34:11-56.48 et. seq., at the time the proposal is received. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening. Corporate bidders are required by law to submit a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock. Contractors bidding on this project shall comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Rate Determination pursuant to Chapter 150 of the NJ Laws of 1963. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of njsa 10:5-31 et seq and njac 17:27 et seq. Bidders must submit a copy of the n.J. Business registration certificate issued by the n.J.
