Renovation of an educational facility in Bristow, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Work generally consists of the demolition of existing ductwork and associated systems, addition of a new FCU system, including ductwork and associated piping, building automation, valving, and installment of existing ceiling grid and tiles and lighting fixtures. Request and deposit must be received at least five (5) days prior to the bid opening date. Failure to do so will result in the Bidder not being able to submit a bid response. Documents (printed and electronic media) will not be distributed until deposit is received. No partial sets will be issued. By submitting its deposit, Bidder agrees to provide copies of the Contract Documents only to those employees and potential subcontractors bidding on the Project and agrees that if it posts the drawings on any website, it shall be a secured website accessible only to those employees and subcontractors with a need to access the documents for bidding purposes. Contractor shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred by PWCS to re-design the Project arising from such publication (e.g. to maintain school security). Bidders are responsible for checking this website prior to bid submission. Failure to acknowledge all addenda shall result in declaration of your bid as non-responsive. In addition, addenda will be electronically delivered to all who are known by the issuing office to have received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Bidding Prime Contractors shall be responsible for distributing addenda information to subcontractors and material suppliers. Extra costs will not be allowed for failure of Prime Contractors to properly distribute addenda or any bidding information. Upon return of the printed Bid Documents (including Addenda, if any), and the electronic media on which the electronic copy was provided (including termination of access from a secured website), prepaid, in good condition, free from markings thereon, within fourteen (14) days after the receipt of bids, refund of deposit will be made as follows: 1) to general contractors who submit a bid, their deposit for the first three (3) sets, and one-half their deposit for all additional sets; 2) to others, their deposit for the first set, and one-half their deposit for all additional sets. No refund will be made for sets that have been marked on, or which are incomplete, disassembled or otherwise unusable for construction. If the Bidder accessed the Bidding Documents solely through a secure website, then its deposit shall be returned after its access to the website has been terminated.
