Paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in O Fallon, Illinois. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a road / highway.
Project Description: The project will improve the drainage, install new sanitary sewers, watermains and reconstruct the roadways in the area of the project. Existing Conditions: This current area has old clay sanitary sewers and asbestos concrete watermains that are in need of replacement. This portion of the City also experiences standing water and localized flooding when it rains. Project Goals: To improve the drainage of the area and upgrade the existing sewer, water, and roadway infrastructure. Funding Source: Prop S - 14 Water Department - 31 Sewer Department - 34 The project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As October 20, 2021, a design engineer has been selected.
