The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids for the Asbestos Abatement Project at Eisenhower M.S., 3525 Spring Creek Rd., Rockford, IL 61107. Direct all questions relative to this Invitation for Bid including specifications, Instructions to Bidders, and Conditions in writing to the Director of Purchasing via email at PurchasingDeptStaff@rps205.com. During the time the bid is in the open solicitation and unawarded phase, Bidders may not contact any District staff or design consultants to inquire about the bidding process or any of the details contained in the Bid Package except in writing and by email to Director of Purchasing If you plan to hand deliver your IFB submission on the due date, please note that you must check in on the 2nd floor prior to coming to the bid opening on 6th floor. Please allow time for this as late submissions will not be accepted. Communication with District staff or representatives in a manner other than identified herein may result in disqualification. Furnish in the amount of 100% of the Contract after award. The District reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids when, in the opinion of the District, such action will serve the best interests of the District. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without written consent of the District.
