Site work for a water / sewer project in Minonk, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of various process piping improvements at the City's Water Treatment Plant. Work includes removal of existing 4" to 6" PVC process piping, installation of new ductile iron pipe, valves and new pipe supports, painting of the new pipe, and various other repairs in the building and at the site. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Minonk reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City. It is agreed that this bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from opening thereof or it will be subject to forfeit the 5% Bid Bond provided with the bid. Work on this project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Prevailing Wages, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and the current Prevailing wage ordinance approved by the City Council, shall be paid. The submission of monthly certified payrolls to the City of Minonk will be required. Work on this project is subject to the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Project Act as enacted by P.A. 95-0635. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form The Project consists of various process piping improvements at the City's Water Treatment Plant.
