Renovation of a water / sewer project in Minonk, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the removal and replacement of two (2) Dry-Pit Submersible Pumps with associated valves, fittings, piping, controls, and appurtenances within the City's West 6th Street Pump Station. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. A pre-bid conference will not be held Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. It is agreed that this bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from opening thereof or it will be subject to forfeit the 5% Bid Bond provided with the bid. Work on this project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Prevailing Wages, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and the current Prevailing wage ordinance approved by the City Council, shall be paid. The submission of monthly certified payrolls to the Department of Labor will be required. The City of Minonk reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City.
