Site work and paving for a transportation facility in South Lake Tahoe, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The Bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials and perform all work necessary for the General Aviation Apron Reconstruction Phase 5 in the City of South Lake Tahoe in strict conformance with the Contract Documents (as defined in the Agreement), including, without limitation, the specifications and construction drawings. Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: traffic control, rehabilitation of general aviation apron pavements including grading, paving, and marking, removal of existing concrete valley gutter and installation of new concrete valley gutter, installation of new tie downs. Best Management Practices, compliance with regulatory permits, establishing vegetation on areas disturbed by construction activity, and all other work as described in the Contract Documents, including, without limitation, project construction drawings, bid documents, the General Provisions (FAA), the Special Provisions, City of South Lake Tahoe Public Improvements and Engineering Standards, and Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular 150/5370-10G, Standards for Specifying Construction of Airports. The Work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents, which shall include, without limitation, the Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular 150/5370-10G, the Bid Documents, the General Provisions (FAA), the Special Provisions, the Project plans and drawings, the South Lake Tahoe City Code, the City of South Lake Tahoe Public Improvement and Engineering Standards, and all other applicable laws, regulations and codes.Chapter 3.35 of the South Lake Tahoe City Code requires that any person carrying on any business, trade, profession, calling, or occupation in the City must first procure a Business and Professions Tax Certificate from the City. The successful bidder and any subcontractors shall complete an application and pay the required fees for the Business and Professions Tax prior to starting work on the contract.Information regarding the Business and Professions Tax may be obtained by calling the City of South Lake Tahoe Permits and Revenue Division at (530) 542-6012.
