The project site is located east of 953 Fall Ridge Way in Gambrills in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The site limits are defined by Time Drive to the north, an existing Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) right-of-way (ROW) to the east, Fall Circle Way to the south and a wooded area to the west. The location is as shown on the vicinity map on the Contract Drawings. The Work includes the following major items: a) Perform construction stakeout; b) Install and maintain sediment controls; c) Install and maintain site dewatering; d) Remove, transport, prepare, stockpile and/or dispose of trees greater than or equal to 30 inches diameter at breast height (DBH); e) Install and maintain tree protection measures; f) Remove and dispose of an existing underground infiltration facility and gabion baskets in the ephemeral channel and install a SPSC system; g) Install two valley grade control with constructed riffle structures; h) Remove an existing gabion basket drop structure in the eroding side channel and install a storm drain system; i) Remove and dispose of the existing sediment basin 27-inch CMP Stand Pipe and 18-inch CMP storm drain outfall, excavate the embankment and install a SPSC system; j) Remove and dispose of approximately 13 linear feet of an existing 15- inch CMP storm drain and associated concrete outfall structure and install an Anne Arundel County Standard Drop Manhole, approximately 15 linear feet of a proposed 18-inch RCP storm drain, and an Anne Arundel County Standard Type "A" Headwall; k) Remove and dispose of approximately 15 linear feet of an existing 21-inch CMP storm drain and associated concrete outfall structure and install an Anne Arundel County Standard Drop Manhole, approximately 13 linear feet of a proposed 21-inch RCP storm drain, and an Anne Arundel County Standard Type "A" Headwall; l) Excavate, haul, place and/or dispose of an estimated 7,152 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation; m) Install riprap protection; n) Install cover/nurse crop, floodplain seed mix and upland seed mix; o) Install one sill boulder structure; p) Conduct an as-built survey; q) all other incidental work as necessary.
