As of August 29, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of a five classroom addition and select renovation to the existing Crofton Middle School. Renovation work consists of converting existing classrooms into a new cafeteria expansion, converting the smaller existing cafeteria annex into a classroom, the modification of a kitchen storage into a new serving line, and select demolition and renovation of the existing facility as required to tie in the new classroom addition. Site work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of existing forced sanitary system, storm water management for new impervious surfaces, modification of the front sidewalk to produce an at grade bus pickup / drop off, and reworking of the existing tennis courts. The project includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, concrete, masonry, structural steel and misc. metals, overhead equipment supports, millwork, insulated sheathing panels, waterproofing spray foam and air barrier, expansion joint assemblies, roofing, firestopping, caulking, doors-frames and hardware, overhead coiling doors, glass & glazing, louvers, GWB assemblies, tile, flooring, acoustic wall panels, painting, visual display surfaces, signage, toilet accessories and partitions, fire extinguishers & cabinets, lockers, metal storage shelving, overhead supported canopies, food service equipment, window treatments, site furnishings, fire protection system, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, tele/data, first responder radio amplification system, etc. The site scope of work includes erosion control, earthwork, termite control, flexible and rigid paving, pavement markings, tennis court color coating system, fences, landscaping and site utilities.
