Renovation of a mixed-use development in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Project No. 550-14-103 Upgrade Emergency Power Distribution at VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small-Businesses (SDVOSBs). The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, management, supervision and all other resources to Upgrade Emergency Power Distribution in accordance with the drawings and specifications for Project 550-14-103 Upgrade Emergency Power Distribution. The scope of this project includes but is not limited to provide the replacement and upgrade of Building 104 generator, associated ATS switches, replacement and upgrade of Building 14 generator, relocate 4 roof top transformers on B101 to inhouse dry type TRs, emergency electrical systems and secondary distribution systems, on 14, 22/69 and 48 while meeting the code violations and deficiencies to the latest electrical standard requirement. All services related to the Statement of Work shall meet local, state, federal, VA, ADA, NFPA, life safety codes and directives. Work is to be completed within 240 calendar days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors); size standard $15.0 million applies. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of offers/quotes, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP database.
