Construction of the City of Lynden Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wwtp) Outfall Replacement, Including Trenching and Installation of Approximately 100 Lineal Feet of a 24-inch Diameter Ductile Iron (Di) Piping System to a New Single-port Side-bank Discharge on the Nooksack River; Removal of Approximately 120 Lineal Feet of Existing 20-inch Diameter Di Outfall Piping; Rehabilitation of an Existing Manhole; Temporary Bypass Pumping of Treated Effluent From the Wwtp; in-river Work Area Isolation; Surface Water and Groundwater Control; Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control; in-water Construction; Installation of the Side-bank Discharge Pipe and 30-inch Minus Riprap Bank Armoring; Streambank Restoration; and Mitigation, Including Weed Control and Riparian Plantings Along the Bank and Beyond the Construction Area; and All Work Necessary for a Complete Wwtp Outfall Replacement as Shown on the Plans and Specifications.
