Renovation of a municipal facility in Alliston, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Updates to city owned parks and buildings. The plan promotes the conservation, enhancement, and beautification of buildings and properties in the historic downtowns of Alliston, Beeton, and Tottenham through development incentive grants and loans. The following Catalytic Development Priority Sites have been identified; Alliston -- 1. Vacant Parcel at Victoria St. W. (North Side, between 78 Victoria St. W. and 60 Victoria St. W.) 2. 20 Church St North 3. Site 3: 47 Victoria St. E, 4. Site 4: 170 Victoria St. E, 5. Site 5: 276 Victoria St. E, and 6. 294 Victoria St. E. Beeton -- 1. 56-48 Main St. W, 2. 34 Main St. W, 3. 25 Main St. W, 4. 2 Main St. E, 5. 1 Main St. E, 6. 9 Patterson St. S, and 7. Vacant Parcel at Main St. E. (Directly abutting 51 Main St. E. on the east side). Tottenham -- 1. 14 Mill St. W, 2. 4 Queen St. N, and 3. 10 Queen St. N. TIMELINE: The New Tecumseth Community Improvement Plan (CIP) was completed internally by the town of New Tecumseth. The final proposed CIP was considered at the January 11 2021 Committee of the Whole meeting. The Community Improvement Plan resulted in Official Plan Amendments for the Town of New Tecumseth, and contained provisions enabling the Council of New Tecumseth to designate a Community Improvement Project Area by by-law. No construction resulted immediately from these amendments. Coverage of this report is discontinued. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
