Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Swan Lake, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
**As of October 30, 2019 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project generally consists of the construction of a 9,000 s.f. aviation bulk hangar building, including associated asphalt paving for aircraft access and utility connections. Prevailing wage rates apply and Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt. A State M/WBE participation goal is included in the Contract: 12% MBE & 18% WBE MBE: 17.0% & WBE: 6.9% Technical questions shall be directed to Matt Nissen of Passero Associates: mnissen@passero.com All bids must be made on the official bid forms or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidders may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the preparation of proposal. Sullivan County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
