As of February 22, 2021, contract execution and Notice to Proceed are anticipated by February 26, 2021. Design work and site excavation preparation will move forward in March 2021. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is releasing this Request for Qualifications for Design-Build Professional Consulting Services (RFQ) to solicit qualified professional service firms to assist DEC in the completion of a project to divert treated wastewater effluent from the Bay Park Wastewater Treatment Facility to the Cedar Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility within Nassau County. On May 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM, DEC will host an optional information meeting for potential respondents to attend, learn about the project, and meet with other interested potential respondents, including M/WBE, DBE and SDVOB firms. The meeting will be held in the Ceremonial Chamber (2nd floor) of the Nassau County Executive Offices located at 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, New York 11501.
