Site work for a water / sewer project in Nassau, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work site is located along John Street in the Village of Nassau, New York. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental for upgrades to two (2) existing potable water supply wells in the Village of Nassau. The work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing well discharge piping, valves, and appurtenances, the installation of new magnetic flow meters, chlorine analyzers, and chemical feed equipment, as well as modifications to the existing well field control and telemetry system, all as defined in greater detail in the contract documents. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This is a lump sum bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
