Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 173,600-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Awards will be made from this round of pricing. This is a New Replacement Middle/High School, approximately 173,600-gbsf, built on the same site of the existing Ann Richards School. This Best Value Pricing Package (BVP-02.5) will include the following general Scope of Work items. Please be sure you read the invitation for this bid package as it is for PLUMBING ONLY. All other trades need not look at the project at this time. Plumbing including but not limited to, below slab, above slab, fixtures, gas piping, perimeter drainage, acid neutralization tank, condensate lines, and existing building make safe. More detailed scopes of work can be found in the Documents. This project will have a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP). Please do NOT include Workers' Compensation or General/Umbrella Liability Insurances in your Proposal. The Bid Form (issued with the Documents) will have an ADD Alternate Item to add these insurances in the unlikely event the project does not go as a CCIP.
