Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water tank for rehabilitation.
The funding source for this project is Water Revenue. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, West Side Tank Painting as follows: Project includes metal repairs to the Westside Tank, installation of a tank mixer and painting the exterior and interior metal surfaces of the tank. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by City Utilities Engineering. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid.
