Renovation of a mixed-use development in Palo Alto, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to issue a competitive solicitation set-aside to verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)s, in accordance with VAAR 819.7006, VA Veteran-owned small business set-aside, for the replacement of the Zinsco electrical panels in buildings 42 and 43, VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), Palo Alto Division. All responsible SDVOSB sources who are verified in VA s VIP Vendor Information Pages at time of solicitation posting may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Estimated closing date is May 20th, 2019. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at FBO. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation. The solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-2 procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. In accordance with FAR Part 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. In accordance with FAR Part 5.203, this notice is being published for at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation. All contractors are reminded that they must be registered in the SAM.gov database, https://sam.gov/SAM/ in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management. All questions must be submitted via email and directed to angela.oppenheimer@va.gov. No telephone questions will be accepted. No questions will be accepted after the date that will be specified in the solicitation. Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction: $20,000 to $50,000. RFI due date is also revised to Wednesday, July 17th, 2019, 2:00PM PDT. IFB response due date remains the same: Thursday, July 25th, 2019, 2:00 PM PDT.
