Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Jefferson, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Base Bid work consists of restoration of the interior and exterior coating systems of a 750,000- gallon water storage tank and replacement of the cathodic protection system. Add Alternate No. 1 work includes furnishing and installation of a tank mixing system. Bids shall be on a combination lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form, with an additive alternate bid item as indicated in the Bid Form. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract
