Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the cleaning, painting, and rehabilitation of the interior and exterior of the 3.0 million gallon capacity welded steel Technology Park Low Service Tank, and miscellaneous rehabilitation of select tank appurtenances. Additive Alternate A includes the installation of an elastomeric polyurethane coating system to the interior surfaces of the tank and appurtenances in lieu of the standard epoxy-based interior coating system included in the Base Bid. It is anticipated that the Notice of Award will be issued in June 2020 and the effective Notice to Proceed date will be September 1, 2020. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 - 27H, as amended, apply to this project.
