The Town of Falmouth Department of Public Works, Wastewater Division is soliciting bids under Chapter 30B MGL for Transportation and Final Disposal of Sludge from its Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Contract shall run from contract execution through the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2023), with the Town's option to extend the Contract for two additional one-year periods. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of the invitation for bid, an addendum will be issued to all prospective bidders. A bid deposit, in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check or treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Town, must be submitted with the bid. The bid deposit shall be in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total estimated ten-month contract value as calculated on the Bid Sheet. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total estimated ten-month contract value as calculated on the Bid Sheet. The Town of Falmouth reserves the right to reject any and all bids if/when it deems it to be in the best interests of the Town.
