Description of work: The work includes the construction of approximately: ITEM QTY UNIT Remove Runway Edge Light 34 EACH Medium Intensity Runway Threshold Light, LED, Base Mounted, Red/Green Lens, Complete 12 EACH Medium Intensity Runway Edge Light, LED, Base Mounted, White Lens, Complete 24 EACH Medium Intensity Taxiway Edge Light, LED, Base Mounted, Blue Lens, Complete 8 EACH Non-Encased, Electrical Conduit, 2-Inch, Sch. 40 PVC or HDPE 6051 LIN FT Airfield Marking Cone 36 EACH together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. Completion of work: All work shall be completed within 42 consecutive calendar days after commencement of construction. All work shall be completed on or before October 31, 2019. Bid security: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Sleepy Eye shall accompany each bid. Owner rights reserved:The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
