**As of May 30, 2019 Apparent Low Bidder's Amount is $1,417,748.91.** This project provides for providing the necessary labor, material, equipment and work to install seventeen (17) completely functional Dynamic Message Sign Systems (DMS), furnishing and installation of foundations, structures, power, and communication conduit and wiring. All DMS, controllers and cabinets will be supplied by the Commission. Also included are guide rail installation, and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic. Installation of Pre-Entry Intelligent Transportation Systems Between Milepost A30.13 and Milepost A130.64 in Montgomery, Bucks, Luzerne, and Lackawanna Counties. The project is located on State and local roads in the vicinity of North East Extension exits 31, 44, 105, 115, 122, and 131, in Montgomery, Bucks, Luzerne, and Lackawanna Counties, Pennsylvania. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. (The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks.) A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. The opening and listing of bids not meeting all the terms and conditions of the bid advertisement or bid procedures does not act as a waiver or modification of any requirements contained in the bid advertisement or bid procedure. The Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended, together with the rates and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry applicable thereto, shall apply to this contract.
