The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Purchasing Department (County) is requesting competitive sealed qualifications and fee structure to provide Design Services for a new Storage Building to be located behind the County Administration Building at the Bluffs at Technology Park campus in Canton (Cherokee County), Georgia., meeting the specifications and as described herein. All times in the solicitation are local times to Cherokee County, Georgia in the Eastern Time Zone. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive technicalities and to make a selection and final award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County, including using any form of contract it deems most advantageous to the County. The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals to provide Design Services for a new Storage Building to be located behind the County Administration Building at the Bluffs at Technology Park campus, 1130 Bluffs Parkway in Canton (Cherokee County), Georgia. The project will consist of a one-story general storage building of approximately 5,000sf. o The building will be a pre-engineered metal structure (PEMB), slab on grade, with a "stone" masonry wainscot and brick facade on three sides to match the adjacent administration building with metal panels on the rear. o Doors are anticipated to be metal with metal frames as well as a minimum of one insulated overhead door. o No windows are currently anticipated. o The roof system will be metal panels. o Building systems will include heat, ventilation, and air conditioning; o Plumbing and fire protection is not desired. o New Electrical Service.
