As of February 22, 2021, the project is under construction. Charlotte County has received and accepted an unsolicited PPEA proposal from Jamerson-Lewis Construction of Lynchburg, Virginia that proposes options for facility improvements at the Bacon District and Phenix Elementary Schools. Charlotte County intends to evaluate this proposal and may negotiate an interim and/or comprehensive agreement with the proposer.
