Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction of 38 km of BRT lines, consisting of 35.3 km running in mixed traffic and 305 km in dedicated transit-only lanes (1st Avenue from 19th to 25th Street) and College Drive , six bus-only queue jump locations along with 38 km of fibre optic communication cable, 14 upgraded traffic signal controllers, and transit signal priority at 90 intersections. The overall scope encompasses approx. 100 station locations and the 1st Avenue and College Drive dedicated runningway corridors. The project also includes construction of 88-100 BRT shelters. TIMELINE: Construction of 8 stations was completed in 2024; the remainder of the stations and platforms are scheduled for construction in 2025. Request for prequalification of contractors for the Design-Build phase of the BRT Shelter Project has closed and submissions are under review (construction is planned for 2026). Value listed reflects the total project cost.
