A description of the work of this project can be summarized to: This project's scope of work is to build a new two-story hydraulic elevator addition at an existing barrack building for the Idaho National Guard. The project's location is at the Idaho National Guard Orchard Training Facility, about half-way between Boise and Mountain Home, ID. The new twostory hoistway and single-story attached machine room will be masonry CMU construction with brick veneer. The hoistway and elevator car will have exterior viewing glass on the south side. The project will require removal of brick veneer and portions of the foundation system from the existing building to accommodate the new hoistway. Other building modifications will include electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire sprinkler system to accommodate the new elevator functions.
