The Bedford County Nursing Home seeks proposals for updated landscaping services to enhance the overall curb appeal of the property. The goals for this project are to create a space that is neat, clean and reduce landscape maintenance. This involves replacing and replanting plants, trees, and ground covers that are appropriate for the area. There is a need to improve over grown, bare, and neglected landscape areas. In addition, a creation of a sidewalk is necessary to adjoin a parking lot to tie in with an existing walkway. There is also a need to screen off a loading dock area, generator, and drainage pond in an attractive manner. Proposals may be withdrawn by written request from the proposer to the County Purchasing Agent prior to the proposal closing date. The successful proposer will be responsible for outlining services with completion dates and payment schedule in the format of a contract within 30 day(s) of the award of the contract Proposals should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward, concise description of capabilities to satisfy the requirements of the RFP. Emphasis should be placed on completeness and clarity of content.
