Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bedford, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of January 20, 2022, the project os anticipated to be awarded on February 14, 2022. The County of Bedford invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Sheriff Station Parking Lot Resurfacing project. The project site is located at 1345 Falling Creek Rd, Bedford, VA. All inquiries for information shall be submitted in writing to Erik Smedley, County Engineer, at esmedley@bedfordcountyva.gov. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the proposal due date may not be answer. 1. Mill and overlay existing parking lot and travel way surfaces as shown on the Contract Drawings. Parking lot shall be replaced in kind with same materials. 2. Add Alternate No. 1 - Pave existing gravel area encompassing half of vehicle fueling stations as shown on the Contract Drawings. 3. Provide all work ancillary required to complete the work including, but not limited to, restriping, temporary cold patching as necessary, site restoration, safety measures, and traffic maintenance as necessary.
