Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water), the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed Bids for the aforementioned project. Sealed Bids will be received at the Owner office until the date and time given below, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the date and time given below will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The procurement process and the performance of the Contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Following is a general description of the Project: Relocate the Construction Support Facility (CSF) from Trap Rock Water Treatment Facility (TRWTF) to Broad Run Water Reclamation Facility (BRWRF). The CSF is a custom prefabricated 96-ft x 60-ft single story office building consisting of eight (8) separate 60-ft x 12-ft modular sections which are connected to form a single structure. The existing building is partially furnished and includes all accessories, HVAC, electrical system and plumbing. All work shall be as described or implied in the Specifications and as indicated on the Drawings. Major elements of Work include but are not limited to: 1. Disassemble, transport and re-assemble the CSF on the designated site at the BRWRF 2. Installation of erosion and sediment controls 3. Sitework including grading and stormwater and drainage facilities 4. Installation of stone paving and concrete pavement for handicap access to/from the parking lot 5. Installation of building foundations 6. Installation of new underground utilities including electrical, water, sewer, and communication services 7. Installation of an ADA access ramp with stairs 8.
