As of July 28, 2021, construction is underway. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Work includes additions and renovations to the existing Mary Castle Early Learning Center located at 8510 E 82nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46256 and additions and renovations to the existing Amy Beverland Early Learning Center located at 11660 Fox Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236. The project will be constructed under the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) delivery method for public work. Powers and Sons will contract with multiple subcontractors for the Bid items listed below, with bids received on a lump sum basis for each bid item. Each proposal shall include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the Construction Drawings, Project Schedule and Project Manual. The Owner will receive sealed Bids for the following Bid Items of work: Contract No. 1 General Trades Contract No. 2 Flooring Contract No. 3 Painting Contract No. 4 HVAC and Plumbing Contract No. 5 Electrical Contract No. 6 Kitchen Equipment Contract No. 7 Playground Equipment. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount will be required of the successful bidder prior to execution of Contracts. Time is of the essence and Bids shall be based upon performing the Work in full and strict accordance with the Project Schedule and Phasing Plan.
