This project will replace and repair the MEP systems in the Discovery Park building to last another 25+ years. The project will be completed over several phases to include HVAC renovations, electrical renovations, control system replacement, and architectural modifications. Discovery Park is a two-story building built in 1985 with 609,550 square feet of classrooms, offices, research labs, and cafeteria, located at 3940 N. Elm Street, Denton, Texas. MEP systems for all areas of the building, except for the central plant, are to be upgraded based on current codes and life safety requirements, improve energy efficiency and improve indoor air quality.
