All work is located at Lake Las Vegas, on the North Shore on Summer House Drive. Items to be constructed include: wet well, dry well, meter vault, pigging station vault, 10" diameter force main, sewer manholes, a chemical feed system, CMU building, emergency generator, appurtenant electrical wiring and controls, asphalt paving, 32' wide swing gates, and a 8' high CMU decorative wall The name and address of the Bidder with Contract Title and Contract Number must appear on the outside of the sealed envelope. A surety bond in lieu of the certified check will be acceptable. The successful bidder will be required to furnish at his own expense a Materials and Labor Bond in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contracted price. A Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price and a Guarantee Bond in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. Guarantee shall be for one (1) year from the date of completion. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Award of the contract will be based on: whether the bidder is the lowest responsive and responsible bid judged on the basis of price; and whether the quality of the services, materials, equipment or labor offered conforms to the approved plans or specifications, and is in the best interest of the public; each of such factors will be considerer. Pursuant to the provisions of NRS 338.1382, Contractors must be prequalified by the Nevada State Public Works Board at the time of the bid opening.
