Request for Qualifications - RFQ - Contractor 06/13/2019 at 2:00 PM ET Applications for pre-qualification for bidding will be received at the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority office at 1170 Atlanta Industrial Drive, Marietta, GA 30066. The Applicant must submit five (5) hard copies of the completed application and a PDF copy on USB drive. The Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority is pre-qualifying pipeline contractors for possible future ductile iron pipeline construction projects. The pre-qualification requirements are based on pipe laying experience with ductile iron pipe along with personnel and financial records (1 Separately Sealed Copy). Information submitted by the contractor will be reviewed by the Authority's Engineering, Transmission and Finance staff. If pre-qualification requirements are satisfactorily met, a recommendation will be made to the Water Authority Board for pre-qualification status. Final approval is strictly a Water Authority Board decision. To bid a project with the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority, a contractor must have board approval before the date of the first public advertisement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all applications for pre-qualification, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
