Site work for a water / sewer project in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Only those contractors that are pre-qualified with the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority to construct ductile iron water mains of 36-inch and larger diameter (Categories 2, 3, and 4) at the time of the first publication of this notice will be allowed to bid this project. The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Replacement of four existing 6-inch saddle blow-offs on a 36-inch water main with 36-inch x 8-inch or 6- inch Tees and 8-inch or 6-inch blow-offs; removal of two 6-inch saddle blow-offs, and replacement of one 36"x12" saddle with a 12" outlet vale to the Cobb County Water System with a 36"x12" tee and 12" gate valve. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. *Ruby Collins Inc. requests sub-bidding be submitted to: estimating@ruby-collins.com no later than 06/27/2022 at 05:00 PM
