Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Crestview, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of widening PJ Adams Parkway from two lanes to multi-lanes with sidewalk from near SR 85 to Wild Horse Drive and consists of demolition, clearing and grubbing, drainage improvements, earthwork, excavation, embankment, grading, asphalt paving, seeding and sodding, noise wall construction, traffic signals, pavement markings and other WORK as shown on the construction drawings and described in the specifications. In addition, the Work will include utility adjustments to existing City of Crestview Water & Sewer Utility within the construction corridor. Work shall be performed by contractors/ subcontractors prequalified for work classes Drainage (7), Fencing (9), Flexible Pavement (10), Grading (11), Grassing (12), Pavement Marking (12), Roadway Signing (38), Traffic Signal (39), Sidewalk (40), and Noise Barrier Wall (40) by the Florida Department of Transportation. Bids will only be received from Contractors prequalified for work class Drainage (7), Flexible Pavement (10), and Grading (11) by the Florida Department of Transportation. All bids must be received in sealed envelopes reflecting on the outside thereof the Bidder's name and PJ Adams Parkway Multi-Laning from SR 85N To Wild Horse ITB PW 55-19. Any Bidder failing to mark outside of the envelope as set forth herein may not be entitled to have their bid considered. Okaloosa County is not responsible for lost or late delivery of bids by the U.S. Postal Service or other delivery services used by the respondent. The Okaloosa BCC reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder and to waive any irregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the resulting negotiated agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening unless otherwise specified.
