This project is for the replacement of the existing structure that carries T-529 (Miller Road) over Laurel Run in Huntingdon County. The existing Concrete Encased Steel I-Beam Structure will be replaced with a 1-Span Composite Prestressed Concrete Spread Box Beam Bridge and includes minor roadway approach work, drainage, guide rail and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 7211, SECTION 529, in HUNTINGDON COUNTY, JACKSON TOWNSHIP at the locations indicated on the plan. This work is the furnishing and installing of post-installed concrete anchors intended for attaching structural members/ components to existing and new concrete. These requirements apply to permanently installed anchors not under sustained tension loads, temporary applications under sustained tension loads as designed and installed by the contractor, and contractors temporary shoring support systems that may include anchors under sustained tension loads. The requirements in this Section do not apply to anchors used for temporary concrete barriers, structure mounted, and anchors drilled in the downward direction.
