Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Jamesville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

This project provides for the replacement of the South Street (Apulia Road / CR-2) Culvert over Rush Creek in the Town of DeWitt in the County of Onondaga, New York. All work shall be completed by September 20, 2019. The project is being progressed by the Onondaga County Department of Transportation, in conjunction with funding from the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. A 12% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Goal and an 18% Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal applies for this project. The minimum wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics are included in wage schedules that are set out in the bid proposal. Special attention of bidders is called to Section 102 "Bidding Requirements and Conditions" in the New York State Standard Specifications" of May 1, 2019, and as amended, and "Additional Information for Bidders" located in the bid proposal. Proposals for each contract must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name, number of the contract, and bid reference number plainly endorsed on the outside of the envelope. Each proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check or bid bond payable to the order of the "County of Onondaga" in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the Gross Sum Bid for the Complete Project Only. The retention and disposal of the bid deposit and the execution of the Contract and Bond shall conform to the provisions of the Highway Law, as set forth in the "Bidding Requirements and Conditions". The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any or all bids. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% The successful bidder is not required to return the copy of the plans and the specifications in order to be entitled to such a refund.
