For Jurupa Hills Liftstation Replacement Project The Contract Work site is located within the City of Jurupa Valley in the portion of the Rubidoux Community Services District as shown on Sheet 1 of the Construction Drawings. The project is located on the south west corner of Jurupa Hills Country Club. Access to the site is located along Linares Avenue, 300' east of Pico Avenue. The project requires connections and abandonment work at the end of the access road. All material and equipment storage shall be confined to the immediate area south of the existing site. The Contract work to be performed hereunder includes the furnishing of all labor and equipment and furnishing and installing all materials, unless herein specifically excepted, necessary for the complete and satisfactory construction of the JURUPA HILLS LIFT STATION REPLACEMENT, including connection to existing sewer system, construction of new sewer system infrastructure and demolition and abandonment of required existing facilities. The work shall consist of all traffic control (including furnishing and installing all barricades, signs, delineators, and flagmen); all utility location and verification (excavating, exposing, and verifying top, bottom, and side of utility facility); all pavement removal and disposal; all earthwork (including trenching, shoring, sloping, blasting if required, disposal, bedding, and backfilling including select imported material or select native material); compacting; furnishing and installing all pipe, fittings, manholes, laterals; temporary plugging, diverting or bypass pumping required for making all related connections; abandoning existing manholes, piping, connecting to vault and electric panel, protecting in place or removing and replacing all existing improvements; replacing all existing gravel, asphalt concrete pavement including asphalt concrete overlays removed, damaged or destroyed during construction; pavement striping and restriping; removing and replacing all Portland Cement concrete improvements removed, damaged or destroyed during construction; replacing destroyed survey monuments; disposing of excess soil and rock material and restoring all areas and improvements to pre-construction conditions. Contractor shall, upon completion of all construction work required herein, initially operate all components of the Contract Work installed or furnished and installed by Contractor, and make any additional, adjustments, corrections, repairs, replacements, and reconstructions necessary to provide District with complete, correctly operating sewer system.
