Renovation of a water / sewer project in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work includes the following: 1. Replacement of pumps, piping, valves, and miscellaneous fittings inside existing lift station wet well, valve vault, and metering vault. 2. Replacement existing lift station controls, electrical, and HVAC equipment, and installation of new natural gas backup generator. 3. Reconfiguration of control room, including removal of existing generator, constructing new door in east wall, and closing current door opening in south wall. 4. Removal of existing buried generator fuel tank. 5. Replacement of existing lift station building siding, exterior louvers and protrusions, and roof. 6. Restoration of concrete in wet well and recoating of wet well, piping, and building interior A copy of the plans and specifications may be inspected at the following locations: - Office of Bolton & Menk Inc., 7533 Sunwood Dr. NW, Suite 205, Ramsey, MN 55303 - City of Brooklyn Center, MN A certified check or a Bid Bond satisfactory to the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total Bid price submitted must accompany each Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards. As of June 24, 2019, this project is in the pre-bidding stage. The project will begin construction in Summer, 2019, and be completed by Winter, 2020.
