This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P122Q0036. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. Wage Determination UT20220063, 02/25/2022 LOCATION AND INSPECTION: 1. Canyonlands National Park is accessed via two entrances: a. The Island in the Sky district is accessed by following Highway 191 for 11 miles north-west of Moab, Utah and turning left onto Highway 313. Follow Highway 313 14.6 miles to the intersection of the Dead Horse Point road. Paint striping begins at this point and continues out to Grand View Point. Work will also include paint striping out to Upheaval Dome and Green River Overlook. Total mileage of road to be striped is approximately 25 miles. b. The Needles district is accessed by following Highway 191 for 40 miles south of Moab, Utah and turning right onto Highway 211. Follow Highway 211 for 19 miles to the Zero mileage marker at the Dugout Ranch cattleguard. This is the start of the Park maintained road. Work will continue out to Big Springs and include the Wooden Shoe loop road, and the Squaw Flat campground roads. Total mileage of road to be striped is approximately 25 miles. 2. Arches National Park is located 5 miles north of Moab, Utah on U.S. Highway 191. There are approximately 25 miles of park road to re-paint in Arches National Park. 3. Natural Bridges National Monument is located 35 miles west of Blanding, Utah on Highway 95. From Highway 95 turn west onto Highway 275 and travel 4 miles to the Park. Work starts at the Park boundary and includes the entire Monument loop drive. There are approximately 12 miles of park road to re-paint in Natural Bridges National Monument. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the site and become familiar with existing conditions. The clauses at 52.236-2 Differing Site Conditions and 52.236-3 Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Failure of the contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the contractor from responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government.
