Site work and renovation of a civil project in Easton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Structural and Mechanical Work - Contract No. W-1 The project consists of the installation of a new sodium hydroxide storage tank, piping, valving, pumps and related equipment at the Authority's water treatment plant. The project also includes other miscellaneous mechanical, structural, architectural and electrical improvements to the existing water treatment plant. The last day for questions regarding the project or to make a site visit is June 18, 2019. Either a Certified Check or a Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Easton Suburban Water Authority in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The Easton Suburban Water Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof, or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
