Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The GC will be tasked to perform construction management for self-performed and subcontracted scopes of work for Conventional Facilities, Accelerator Cooling system and Controls including the management of the model process for planning, installation and validation of installed work. Project planning, scheduling and performance of the work and the quality control is the responsibility of the GC. Conventional Facilities New Pump Building: 25-foot by 25-foot building addition (roof structure and one wall) of similar construction tadjacent structures. Concrete foundations, switchgear pads and access drive Structural steel additions tying-in texisting building Siding, roofing, roll-up door tmatch existing building Install pump room accelerator cooling equipment, deionized polishing loop, and distribution piping. Klystron Gallery fit-out: Installation of coordinated hanger systems for conventional utilities, accelerator cooling piping and RF technical equipment. Installation of conventional building utilities includes electrical distribution from 13.8 kV down t208/120V, communications, chilled and heating water for HVAC, very early smoke detection apparatus (VESDA), fire suppression, lighting, supply and return ducts, cable tray and wiring Procurement and installation of new 30,000 CFM roof-mounted HVAC unit and associated ductwork. Accelerator Cooling: Installation of 10" DI water supply & return distribution header from the pump room tthe (5) ORNL furnished Transmitter Rack Cooling Carts (TRCC). Install distribution piping from the TRCC carts tequipment tie-in points. Each TRCC cart consists of 13 supply and return circuits. The piping is 1-1/2" t2" stainless steel welded pipe with complex routing teach piece of equipment served. Controls Installation of a PLC enclosure, pulling of field cables from the enclosure tinstrumentation, and termination of field cables that provide controls for the conventional facilities HVAC unit and for accelerator cooling equipment. Install conduit and wire tray required for routing control cables field devices and perform continuity checks on installed control cables. As of June 29, 2022, this project is currently under construction phase and 70% complete. The firm construction timeline was not disclosed. The completion timeline has not been determined.
