Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burnsville, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The existing southbound 35W at Cliff Road west ramp will be relocated to the south and a Roundabout will be constructed (see project graphic). The westerly leg of the new Roundabout will be realigned to connect with DuPont Ave, south of the current intersection location. This project will improve CSAH 32 roadway operations, I-35 southbound ramp operations, make safety improvements, and provide for the increased traffic levels. The city of Burnsville will lead the project and apply for Highway Freight Funding. Only Dakota County's share of the cost is shown. City of Burnsville is the lead agency for this project. This project is included in the Dakota County's FY2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 19, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated in 2022.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
