Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Burnsville, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
In this Request for Quote (RFQ 2022-03), the MVTA is requesting a quote to furnish and deliver two (2) transit shelters. Shelters must be furnished and delivered to MVTA by April 29. 2022. a. Shelter Structure i. 10' x 5' shelter structure, 8' height (or comparable standard size). ii. Roof: white twin wall polycarbonate barrel vault roof. iii. Closed to ground with matching aluminum panels. iv. Two (2) door openings (ADA-approved). One at each end of one of the 10' sides. v. 6063 - T52 alloy, clear, anodized aluminum framing. vi. Glazing: 1/4 " clear tempered glass for walls. vii. Seating bank along 5' of the long wall of the structure that does not have the door openings; material to match aluminum. Seating to include bench surface and backrest. viii. Shelters shall be prefabricated and shipped with illustrated instructions for installation on a suitable concrete pad (or existing pavement of sufficient thickness and condition to meet engineered load requirements) using standard tools and equipment.
