The extension will create a new connection to the Dartmouth Cove development area and will also serve as a detour for the expected closure of Alderney Drive during construction. Other work consists of preliminary design of Portland Street, Alderney Drive, Prince Albert Road (PAPA) intersection, including realignment of Alderney Drive, from Dundas Street to Portland Street.
